CAPF Ayushman
The Ayushman CAPF scheme provides healthcare benefits to serving personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and their dependents, including those from Assam Rifles, BSF, SSB, CRPF, CISF, NSG, ITBP, and NDRF. This includes access to cashless healthcare services at empaneled hospitals across India.
- Serving CAPF Personnel: All personnel from the specified forces are eligible.
- Dependents: Dependents of eligible personnel are also covered under the scheme.
- Geographical Coverage: The scheme is implemented across India in CGHS empaneled private hospitals that have signed MoUs with the National Health Authority (NHA), and all public and private hospitals empaneled under the AB PM-JAY scheme.
- Senior Citizens: Senior citizens aged 70 and above, who are part of families already covered under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, receive a top-up cover of up to Rs 5 lakh per year.
- Cashless Treatment: Beneficiaries can avail of cashless treatment at empaneled hospitals.
- Wide Network of Hospitals: The scheme utilizes a vast network of public and private hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and CGHS schemes.
- No Waiting Period: There is no waiting period for any disease or treatment, with coverage starting immediately.
- 2000+ Procedures Covered: The scheme covers a wide range of medical procedures and treatments.
- Dependents Certificate: For dependents (excluding parents) above 25 years of age, a fresh dependents certificate, issued by their respective units, is required along with the Ayushman CAPF card.
- Referral: A referral from a CAPF/Government doctor is required for treatment/investigations in empaneled hospitals.
- Ayushman CAPF Card: Eligible personnel and their dependents receive an Ayushman CAPF e-card.
- Referral: Obtain a referral from a CAPF or government doctor.
- Empaneled Hospitals: Seek treatment at any hospital empaneled under the Ayushman CAPF scheme.
